Hi Again!

The landscape image above was taken near to where I live. I'm lucky, in that, I can go to the sea daily to see the views.

As a teenager I attended design course and was fortunate to spend time with Celia Bertwell.

I went on to work in a design room for M&S baby wear. Where I also attended The London College of Fashion.

Then onto the West End of London I worked in design rooms supplying High Street Stores like Debenhams where our Jenni Barnes range was feature in Vogue Magazine.

This is me

It was a huge blessing when my son was born, as I was aware that there was always a possibility I wouldn’t have children due to her kidney disease. At this point in my life I spent time being a mother. This gave me the role I loved the best. No one says this better than Pam Ares when she wrote:

My art took a back burner but I continued to express my love of art though Glass work and Painting.  ‘ Fan Dance’ Geisha watercolour painting was in'Paint' magazine in 2010 which was the fuel I needed to persevere with art while I worked full time with vulnerable adults.

While my career took a different path I loved learning about Psychology and Mental health.  I often used art and craft to help people to express themselves and aid with their mental well-being.

2018 I attended groups in the community such as schools and clubs. Where I gave talks to people about my life, healthy lifestyles and imparted a little knowledge about healthy kidneys. Individuals then produced art relating to healthy lifestyle which I facilitated the display at Colchester Hospital, for my 40th kidney anniversary, to bring awareness to Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).

This year I have had the opportunity to concentrate on my own art. Where I have found my unique, style in watercolour paints. I'm also developing a colourful characteristic approach in pastels.

The art displayed on this web site is made solely by me. Although I will be adding a guest art section.

I'm passionate about making my art the best that I can. I am a one woman operation here, so art is produced first come first served.

A massive thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses that work so hard as a family to these children, to save their lives.                                                  Thank You
