Cathy describes the her two paintings in the following way:
The painting both the green jug and the water scene are paint on three panels of wood piece together to represent the Doctors,
Patients, Research - of which you need all three.
The green jug with the flowers by the side represents the loneliness of beening unwell the feeling of being afraid alone and vulnerable.
The blue painting with the light in the sky and on the water represents the feeling once you start getting treated and knowledge of how to deal with the illness you can begin to see the light in which to move forward and pick up the pieces of life again how ever short.
Here are three of Catherine’s work the two going into the gallery on Sunday ‘The Jug’ and Patients view’ and a beach scene which is the style Cathrine is more famous for.
